Conductive Elastomers and O-rings

Cupp’s Industrial Supply offers conductive elastomers consisting of binders manufactured from silicone, fluorosilicone, EPDM, or flourcarbon-fluorosilicone. Our fillers are made of pure silver, nickel-plated copper, silver-plated aluminum, silver-plated nickel, silver-plated glass, unplated graphite particles, or nickel-plated graphite. In addition to ensuring the absolute best results these materials can provide an environmental seal and/or pressure seal. Features of the elastomers include outstanding resistance to compression set over a large temperature range and meet MIL-STD-810 for resistance to fungus.

Specialty elastomers are available for military, commercial, and aerospace applications. In addition to specialty elastomers for defined industries we also provide elastomers for low closure force, waveguide, or corrosive environments.

Our conductive seals are available as extruded elastomers and can be cut-to-length for a variety of profiles including Hollow or Solid 'D', Hollow or Solid 'O', Hollow 'P', rectangle, and many other shapes. Depending on width, they can also be ordered with pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA) applied.

Co-extruded strips offer optimal shielding, while providing corrosion protection. When conductive and non-conductive elastomers are vulcanized together they create a techincally superior design for aircraft doors, rack mounted cabinetry, military or commercial communications and many other applications.
